The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

And we are filled with joy.

Hi Friends! I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with togetherness and thankfulness and feasting! We definitely celebrated and succeeded on all three fronts. I’m not sure when this habit began, but I’ve been writing a daily gratitude in my calendar or on scrap paper regularly for years. There are certainly days when it’s much more difficult to pen something I am tangibly thankful for, but it’s also in these moments that I need this discipline the most. Do you have a daily practice or ritual for fostering thankfulness? I’d love to hear what works for you and possibly adopt a new habit!

Following Thanksgiving weekend here’s a short list of my blessings: family, delicious food, cozy blankets, chilly weather, forehead kisses from Owen, clean water, kitchen dance parties, Charis’ huge unabashed toothy smile, socks, central heat, Cade squeezing my hand, reading great books, Jeb’s unwavering support and encouragement… God is good. We are immensely loved and known.
